After first two days' free and easy trip, Piching planned to somewhere further and different. She remembered that everyone always recommend the Lake District. It is beautiful and must be visited. However, the Lake District is such big. Where should they do? Their route was limited without drinving by themselves. They wanted to visit many places becasue of having BritPass. One day return trip was also their consideration for saving. In conclusion, Piching chose Windermere which took them 3 hours train from Sheffield.
In very early morning, Pigen and Piching walked to the train station from their uphill house. Because it was the first train to Windermere, They would need to change trains twice. Once they arrived in Windermere staion, it took not long to walk to Bowness.

頭兩天輕鬆遊車程不遠的點後，想要到遠一點又風光不一樣的地方去，想起大家都說湖區很漂亮一定要去，可是湖區這樣大，究竟要去哪裡好，加上不是自己開車，路線比較受限制，有了國鐵卷，很多地方都想去，又想當天往返省住宿費，綜合以上總總因素，P青選定了總車程3小時的熱門景點Windermere。
五點多，P根與P青便從雪菲爾的家下山走到火車站去，趕搭一早6點20分的火車，由於時間班次的關係，要轉兩次車才會到Windermere(也有從曼城直達Windermere的火車)，再沿路玩耍走到Bowness去。

They found free information and maps in the entrance of Booths Supermarket nearby the station. Making sure which spot and direction they wanted to go, following the map, they walked, took pictures and played to Bowness. When passing by the World of Beatrix Potter (famous of Peter Rabbit), they didn't buy tickets to visit the lovely museum. The main reason is for saving and they wanted to pay more attention on nature. Thus,they just took few pictures outside the building and kept walking toward to the Bowness Pier. 出了小車站，在車站轉角處Booths超市的入口處，有擺放很多免費的旅遊資訊及地圖供參考，根據地圖、決定主要大方向，便可恣意穿梭於巷弄、公園間，往Bowness方向前進即可，最後便會經過風靡全球的彼特兔之創作者波特小姐的世界。不過，P根與P青為了省錢及當時興致不高，便沒有買門票進去參觀，繼續往波尼斯碼頭前進。(有興趣的人可以瀏覽月亮小姐的部落格-一小時的幸福)
Speaking of saving, they baught a backpack and some small souvenirs. Considering of limited luggage's weight, Piching tried to control her desire to purchase.
If you do want to buy some dolls of the Peter Rabbit' series, you can get much cheaper prices in Bowness' store than in other palces. Three 15-18cm height dolls costed GBP 10.00 (NT.600) only. It's a pity that Piching didn't buy them!!!
Anyway, this place is strongly recommended!!!

話說想要省錢，卻在沿路的商店裡，買了登山包包必須品及一些小小型紀念品(終究要考量日後搬回臺灣的行李，所以要節制購買欲。)，這裡彼特兔系列玩偶也可以很便宜買到，折合台幣六百多元便可買到三隻小玩偶(約15-18公分高)，不過變的越來越務實的P青決定割捨不買，省下日後照顧、清理的麻煩。
這個地點可說強力推薦！
